DIRECTOR’S MESSAGE

As we step into 2026, management education stands at a critical juncture. Institutions can no longer function merely as teaching centres; they must evolve as leadership laboratories—spaces where decision-making, accountability, ethics, and execution are consciously cultivated. At H & G H Mansukhani Institute of Management (MIM),

our resolutions for 2026 are firmly anchored in a collective “we” approach, recognising that institutional growth is a shared responsibility.
Our focus for the year ahead is clear: to build leadership capacity across the institution while strengthening systems, relevance, and credibility.
  1. Leadership Beyond Designation:- Leadership at MIM in 2026 will be defined by initiative, ownership, and informed decision-making. Faculty, coordinators, administrators, and students are encouraged to function as partners in institutional progress, aligned to a shared vision.
  2. Faculty as Academic and Industry-Ready Leaders: We commit to strengthening faculty leadership through industry engagement, case-based teaching, research orientation, and participation in academic governance, enabling faculty to mentor students beyond classrooms.
  3. Students as Responsible Management Leaders: Students will be shaped into responsible leaders through live projects, internships, industry interaction, entrepreneurship initiatives, and student-led activities rooted in discipline, accountability, and ethical grounding.
  4. Industry Alignment as Institutional Leadership: Curriculum delivery and skill development will be aligned with evolving industry expectations, supported by meaningful industry partnerships, guest lectures, and experiential learning.
  5. Technology and AI with Managerial Judgement: Technology and AI will be integrated thoughtfully to enhance analytical capability and decision support, while preserving human judgement, ethics, and strategic reasoning.
  6. Governance, Discipline, and Financial Responsibility: We reaffirm our commitment to transparent governance, academic discipline, regulatory compliance, and prudent financial management to safeguard institutional credibility and sustainability.
  7. Building a Culture of Ownership and Continuity We aim to nurture a culture where leadership is shared, systems are sustainable, and institutional success transcends individuals and tenures.
As Director, my commitment is to enable leadership across MIM by empowering people, trusting systems, and upholding the values that have sustained the institution over the years.
Leadership, when shared, creates institutions that endure.
Growth, when collective, creates impact that lasts.
